The revolution is coming...

HR is transforming from Human Resources to Human Performance

This is more than a name change, it is a complete restructure and repurposing of the function 

The Human Resources function is about to go through its biggest transformation since inception.   Over the past 4 decades the HR function has acquired organizational turf by owning some core functions, payroll, benefits, hiring/firing, policies and procedures.   

This remains the spine of most HR departments today and yet it is not nearly it highest value to the organization.  Technology has created the ability for Human Resources to transform into Human Performance.  Some may argue that is its current function, however, I can assure you it is a 'order of magnitude' difference from the way most HR functions operate.
